The Great Dorset Steam Fair 2018 takes place from Thursday 23th August 2018 to Monday 27th August 2018 at Tarrant Hinton, Blandford Forum, DT11 8HX.
GDSF 2018 is the 50th anniversary of this great steam fair.
Organisers have already announced the appearance of two of the most famous road rollers in the world, Lord Jellicoe and Fippenny Queen. Both roller were built by Fowlers of Leeds in 1930 and are undergoing extensive renovation for the 50th anniversary of the Great Dorset Steam Fair in 2018.
GDSF 2018 will also feature a special celebration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
The show will, of course, also feature the usual fantastic displays and event.

There is food and drink aplenty, with food stalls, cider stalls and bars across the show site, and the very popular food hall will be featuring good, hearty local food, cider and ales, as well as seafood, burgers and coffee and cakes.
The Great Dorset Steam Fair includes a lovely craft area with a host of hand-made crafts including jewellery, toys clothes, hand-dyed yarn and woodcarvings. Perfect for a bit of early Christmas shopping!
