The 2017 Bournemouth Air Festival returns from Thursday 31 August until Sunday 3 September
The 2016 Bournemouth Air Festival was once again a record-breaking event. Over 750 000 people came to enjoy the 4 day festival. There was very little flying on the Saturday, but the remaining 3 days of flying didn’t disappoint! Bournemouth Air Festival is a recent Visit Britain Tourism Event of the Year – GOLD WINNER, and it’s easy to see why!
The 2017 Bournemouth Air Festival takes place from Thursday 31 August until Sunday 3 September. Recognised as the biggest festival in Bournemouth, and the biggest seafront air show in Europe, we think it is the best Air Festival in the world! Sit on the beach and watch The Red Arrows perform, with The Needles and Old Harry’s Rock in the background. Relax while the kids frolic in the sea, or build sandcastles at your feet.
There is also so much to do for the whole family:
- Funfair rides
- Seafront entertainment
- Static displays by the Royal Air Force
- Live music on 2 stages – Boscombe Pier and Bournemouth Pier
- Entertainment, displays and firework displays
- Red Arrows
- Royal Navy displays and visits to a ship
- Royal Marines displays
Keep an eye on the Air Festival website to stay up to date with all the Air Festival news.
