Bournemouth Air Festival 2018 dates have been announced. The 2018 festival will take place from Thursday 30 August until Sunday 2 September 2018.
The 2017 Bournemouth Air Festival was once again a record-breaking event. Over 750 000 people came to enjoy the 4 day festival. There was very little flying on the Sunday, but the remaining 3 days of flying didn’t disappoint!
Biggest free Air Festival in the UK
Unlike a lot of air shows the Bournemouth Air Festival is spread over 4 days and it’s free. Night Air extends the flying day into the evening, so there is a great festival atmosphere over the entire extended weekend.
With flying taking place over the sea, the Bournemouth Air Festival offers one of the best arenas for viewing an airshow. The kids can still build sandcastles and play on the beach, so no-one gets bored.
Air Festival weekend is the busiest weekend of the year in Bournemouth. There are approximately 375 000 people on the beach on the Saturday. Early booking is highly recommended. More and more people are arriving on Thursday and leaving Monday, ensuring they make the most of all the Bournemouth Air Festival has to offer.
